Program description:
 
The retraining program "Fundamentals of Psychodynamic Psychotherapy" implements a fundamentally new model of training for practical psychologists in Russia, which combines training and practice with personal and professional growth of students.
 
Classes are held in the form of lectures, theory seminars, skills training, workshops, viewing and discussing videos of psychotherapy sessions, seminars with analysis of clinical cases from the teachers' psychotherapy practice, and group supervisions.
 
This way students have an opportunity to consolidate their knowledge and skills in the course of practical work with real clients provided by the Institute as well as on our platforms for clinical practice.
 
Special attention is paid to the consistent individual and group supervision of the students’ practical experience.
 
Teachers of the program are practitioners with many years of experience. They represent the most reputable Russian and international professional communities: the Society of Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy, the Moscow Psychoanalytic Society, the European Federation for Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy, the International Psychoanalytical Association.
 
Our goal is to provide professional training for specialists qualified in the field of psychological counseling and psychodynamic psychotherapy.
 
Practice -
When studying at this program, students undergo practical training in clinics providing psychological assistance to parents of seriously ill children and have an internship in psychological counseling at the Psychological counseling unit of the Institute.

Admission conditions:
  • Write an essay (after signing up for the program, you will receive an essay form from our manager)
  • Pass two introductory interviews with the teachers of the Institute. The purpose of the interview is to assess the applicant's perspectives to successfully complete the educational program and acquire professional competence in the field of practical psychology. 
  • Submit the entrance documents to the admissions committee: a copy of the passport, a copy of the diploma of higher education along with the diploma supplements, 2 photos 3 x 4 cm.
  • It is important to note that the education at the Institute is based on the internationally established standards of counseling psychologists and psychotherapists training, which involve  that a future specialist passes individual psychotherapy. Please, be aware that already during the introductory interview, you can hear about the importance of personal psychotherapy for a future practitioner.  However, individual psychotherapy is only recommended and not  obligatory for obtaining a diploma of professional retraining.

with the use of distance learning technologies, training takes place online (in Zoom). Days for the lectures are determined before the start of the program.
Each semester there is a full-time module of 14 calendar days.

The cost of the program if paid in one time for the entire course or for a year is 178,200 rubles (-10%).

The cost of one month is 16,750 rubles (the first payment is 16,800 rubles.)
