Program description:
A distance learning program created in partnership between the Institute of practical psychology and psychoanalysis (IPPP) and the St. Petersburg society of child psychoanalysis, which is a group associate member of the Child and Adolescent Section of the EFPP.
 
The program is distinguished by a highly professional faculty and a deep analysis of the subject.
The teachers of the program are members of the IPA and have doctoral and PhD degrees in psychological sciences. All teachers are practicing members of the St. Petersburg society of child psychoanalysis, a division of the EFPP.
 
During the training, students will be introduced to psychoanalytic understanding of personal development in children, learn about the specifics of personal development goals in different ages, and discuss the issues of working with children in clinical practice.
 
The program is designed to help clinical psychologists and psychotherapists improve their professional competencies in working with children and built a sufficient basis for starting their own psychoanalytic practice in the field of child psychotherapy. It will offer the participants new personal and professional perspectives and allow them to integrate into the professional community of psychoanalytic child psychotherapists
 
After completing the program, students will be given the opportunity to continue their training in child psychoanalysis at the St. Petersburg society for child psychoanalysis.
In this case, the completed hours will be credited to students as part as their training.
Students can get additional remote supervision of their work with children  (if they can organize it by themselves at their place of residence) .

 — of at least 28 years of age;
 — with a higher education in the field of psychology or medicine;
 — with at least 1,5 years of clinical psychotherapeutic practice within any paradigm. 
Education credentials:
At the end of the training, students get certificates of advanced training.

 — Traditionally, classes are held on Saturdays from 11:00 to 14:15
— Classes are conducted as webinars (ZOOM)
— The whole course lasts for 35 days, 4 academic hours a day (140 academic hours in total)
